Privacy policy

This policy explains what data we collect when you visit the website hidraulika-servis.hr, why we collect it and what your rights are. We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the Croatian Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (OG 42/18).

2. In short

  • The site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
  • We do not use Google Analytics. For basic visit statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics without cookies, as described in section 3.2.
  • The site has no form where you enter personal data.
  • We only receive personal data if you contact us yourself by phone or e-mail.

3. What data we collect

3.1. Technical data when you visit the site

The site is hosted on the Vercel platform (Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). On every visit, Vercel as our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data needed to deliver and secure the site:

  • IP address and the country and city derived from it (no precise location),
  • browser and device type, operating system and language,
  • the address of the page you opened, the page you came from, time of access,
  • technical logs of errors and server operation.

Purpose: delivery of the site, detecting and preventing abuse and attacks, fixing errors.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure and correct operation of the site.
Retention period: logs are kept for a limited time, in line with the provider’s rules, and then deleted.

3.2. Visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics)

For basic visit statistics (number of visits, most visited pages, device type, country) we use Vercel Web Analytics. This service does not use cookies and does not collect data that could identify you or track you across other sites. Visitors are told apart only by a temporary hash of the request, which is deleted automatically after 24 hours. We only use aggregated data.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in monitoring and improving the site.

3.3. When you contact us

If you contact us by phone or e-mail, we process the data you give us yourself (name, phone number, e-mail address, content of your enquiry, e.g. type of equipment and description of the job).

Purpose: answering your enquiry, preparing an offer and providing the service.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and performing the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention period: as long as needed to answer the enquiry and provide the service. If we end up working together, we keep business records for as long as the law requires (e.g. accounting and tax regulations).

4. Links to external services

The site contains links to external services. Data is sent to those services only when you click the link:

  • Google Maps – the link to our address opens Google Maps. Google’s rules apply.
  • Manufacturers’ and partners’ websites – links to manufacturers’ sites (e.g. Fassi, Solmec, Isoli) open in a new window. Their owners are responsible for data processing on those sites.

5. Data transfers outside the EU

Vercel Inc. is based in the USA. Data transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which Vercel has joined, and, where necessary, on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. Recipients of data

We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be available only to:

  • the site’s hosting provider (Vercel), to the extent described in section 3,
  • the e-mail and telephone providers we use to communicate,
  • competent authorities, where required by law.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your data,
  • rectification of inaccurate data,
  • erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”),
  • restriction of processing,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • data portability.

You can send us a request at servis@hidravlik-servis.si. We will reply within one month at the latest.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you can lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.

8. Cookies

The site does not set cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising, so we do not ask for your consent. If that changes, we will ask for your consent before setting such cookies and update this policy.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
